We always tend to rate ourselves higher than we should. Paul warned against falling prey to such delusion when He said in 1 Corinthians 10:12 that whoever thinks he is standing should

be careful so that he does not fall. In Romans 12:3, he also warned against thinking of ourselves more highly than we should.” “This tragedy of self-delusion is capable of undermining our quest to become a special treasure in the hands of God, and indeed, our quest to Emerge As Gold. Anyone taken by this disposition is certain to undermine his or herself on the journey of life.”

Pray as follows

1. Lord, open my eyes to see where I am falling short of your glory in Jesus name, Amen.
2. Lord, I receive grace to take corrective steps to improve my Christian walk in Jesus name, Amen.
3. Lord, make me a special treasure in your hands all the days of my life in Jesus name, Amen.
